Dundee PRINTS!

Dundee Contemporary Arts is an art centre located in the lovely city of Dundee, Scotland, the fourth-largest city of Scotland. Developing itself in a city who's history spun "jute, jam, and journalism", the DCA prizes itself in its contemporary art galleries, their cinema, print studio, visual research centre and a café bar naturally named "Jute".

This place is of particular interest to me because of their print studio. The prints produced from this art centre have a progessive air to them, and a quite effective and striking impact on the public. The current exhibition in the print gallery is of Sister Corita Kent. Yes, indeed. She was a nun who was very innovative and unusual for popart during the 1960s, believe it or not. For more information about the exhibition and the DCA, visit them at their website.
