Oh Happy Day!

Wednesday- November 5th, 2008, the day after Election '08

This blog isn't completely dedicated to politics, and I've strayed away from making biased political remarks, however, I think there is some room for highlights of this moment in American History. Congratulations to all winning candidates who ran in the State elections and of course congrats to our 44th winning presidential candidate, President Obama. As for those of us disappointed in California's decision on Prop 8, have no fear! Us Californians know how to instill better ideas, and things will change! Questions on Prop 8 will come again, and we'll bring it back.

Also, ran into this article on the NYtimes website on the potential Google/Yahoo partnership. This type of thing is important because it questions company/business growth, and economic advances. Miguel Heft focuses on the incredible dependency from the United States upon Google as a source for information. Companies such as Microsoft and Yahoo are left as secondary options, and are facing a lack in economic and technological advances due to the lack of public interest and online interaction.
